About Us
Flight Academy Blackpool was established in February 2007 by Craig Seville to compliment Aircraft Grouping Ltd's training requirements. Since its inception there has been a steady growth in the fleet and the company has become the busiest and most popular flying school at Blackpool Airport.
In 2008 expansion of our training has seen us branch into multi engine and commercial training which is also complemented by our instrument rating and flight instructor training. We operate a clean, modern fleet of well maintained aircraft and continue to expand to meet the needs of our customers and the changing requirements of the authorities.
Our continued expansion saw us move into Hangar 8 in April 2008 in which we opened our fully licensed bar and restaurant facilities. Our spacious reception bar and lounge area is unrivalled in the North West for its comfort and luxury.
When moving into Hangar 8 we also took control of the maintenance company which existed there before us and opened another company named SIlverstar Maintenance Services Ltd. The addition of this service means enhanced reliability of our fleet and reduced down times when maintenance is needed.
We continue to provided excellent products with a friendly and approachable atmosphere, our mission statement embodying a "can do" attitude wherever possible.
