Licensed Bar And Lounge Facility
In our luxurious lounge at Flight Academy Blackpool we have a fully licensed bar which is available to out members and their guests. If you visit us for a trial lesson, the bar facilities are also available to you and your family as visitors of Flight Academy.
Visitors and guests are always welcome, just sign in upon your arrival and relax
We
enjoy welcoming new faces in our club and we especially welcome visitors
and guests. Because we are a members only club, it is legally necessary
for us to ask you to sign in when you arrive and obtain a temporary
membership for the day however once this small formality is done, we
will do our best to make you feel comfortable. If you like our
facilities and would like to return, why not benefit from discounted
food and beverages by joining our club as a social member.
Membership of our club is simple to obtain, please ask our reception and bar staff
As
a member of our airside bar you will be able to chat with you new
aviation friends, enjoy the atmosphere of the flying club and learn from
the experiences of others whilst watching the aircraft go by. Membership
is free to all flying members of our club and to staff of the airport
and surrounding businesses. If you do not fall into any of these
categories, a social membership exists to welcome you to our club. The
cost of social membership is £50 per year.
Obviously for people who are flying, the bar is not your first port of
call, but if you are having a trial lesson, your family can relax and
enjoy as they watch you embark upon your airborne adventures!
Whether you're a regular flying member or just someone visiting us for a trial lesson, the bar is a nice place to relax and tell your stories after your flight! As a student pilot you can talk to more experienced pilots and find out their stories whilst benefiting from the lessons they have learned!
All in all the social side of Flight Academy Blackpool is as vibrant as our flying and all are welcome in our bar and lounge during our opening hours.
